Tom Odell
Another Love - Commentary
[Chorus]
All my tears have been used up
On another love, another love
All my tears have been used up

[Verse 1]
I wrote it really quickly and then
And then, a few days later, I was, huh...
One of the labels I was meeting put me in a studio
And then, in London, I still lived in back in Chichester at the time
And I, I think it was just at that time I was listening to a lot of "Beach Boys", and
And a lot of "Fleet Foxes" as well
But that, that kinda harmony, sound, which I guess I've always kinda been
Very fascinated in this, I remember after, after that first chorus

[Chorus]
On another love...
All my tears have been used up
Oh, ooh

[Verse 2]
I knew I wanted to have that kind of thud
The harmonies in the background, it all kinda made sense to me
And now, so I recorded it in this tiny studio in London
And it was kinda, it's kinda done then
It's been that way ever since
[Chorus]
Used up
Oh, oh
