Arrests were made arbitrarily, evacuations made mandatory, indefinite detentions, unsolvable killings, weeks and weeks of agonizing raids, relentless, unexplained physical attacks, gout, goiters, plague, anthrax, new and unconventional threats, simultaneously secretive & violent events
