Tha God Fahim
Poetry Is Power
I take my pain away with ballin'
Hennessy and weed when the paper be stallin'
I hear the spirits, they callin'
I won't give or break, 'cause I control my own fate
I'd rather give than take, 'cause I don't show no hate
Expand my ideas, destroy and build with my peers
My raps is frontier, in only Allah that I fear
We in a new year, let's pray we make it to the end
Put in so many sins, 'cause it's hard to win
But through all the pressure, I still manage to write letters
Seein' signs in the skies, I'ma ride 'til I die
Put my pride to the side and use the knowledge of the gods
Keepin' my third eye open so I can see a fraud
Your man fall, I gotta stand tall
Battlefield instruments of war with me
I'm tellin' you, this hold fifty
On park benches, sippin' Seagram's gin to get tipsy
I'm steady movin' like a gypsy
Squeezin' out automatic weapons 'til it's empty
My forty on the desktop, sayin', "Grip me"
Silent moments cause for ill thoughts
The souls of men is still lost
Blowin' money fast like Rick Ross, my shit cost
'Cause I keep the culture alive, droppin' forgotten knowledge
That's how it's s'posed to be, right?
Yo, I'm my worst critic
As I end every sentence
My poetry is power, and my power is relentless
I'm my worst critic
My poetry is power, and my power is relentless
As I end every sentence
My poetry is power, and my power is relentless
I'm my worst critic
My poetry is power, and my power is relentless
