Game Over
They say, we're headed for the cliffs, but I say it's far from over
They say, if we continue this, it will stay on my shoulders

What is rap? Is it about the crime?
Degradation of women is it just making rhymes about
The drugs that you dealt or the pain that you felt
When you were out with your boys kicked out of the house

No, I think it's really more like a poem to a beat
Not promoting the life on the streets
So please pardon me for my social consciousness
I guess you all are still socially asleep
Eek, I think I just stepped on some feet
But I'll be waiting here if it's the truth that you seek

The truth of which I speak is the future of rap
Why to the future if the present is bleak?
Cause I think there's some hope now your interest is piqued
From the words that I spoke so hold on to your seat
All around the globe they look for the solution
Standout be bold I'm starting a revolution

They say, we're headed for the cliffs, but I say that the game ain't over
They say, if we continue this, it will stay on my shoulder

What is rap? A way to express your feelings?
Or talk about violence and sex?
Why is it fresh to say you're the best every single time that you spit a line?
I'm not trying to seem higher than thou
I hope you see what I mean, I'm just writing this down
Cause it was on my mind and rap is a way
To sort out your thoughts even brighten up your day
Who knows? I just want to say kudos
To the ones who inspire me to perform: shout outs to Bruno and Lupe

Maybe I'll be up with them but today I'm focused at the problem at hand
Man, rap is full of auto-tuned mess
If we could use our real voices then we could impress the masses
It'd be fantastic to see true artists working together that's the way that it should be

They say, we're headed for the cliffs, but I say that the game ain't over
They say, if we continue this, it will stay on my shoulder
