This is the amalgamation
This is the new infinite
Life is our passport,
Passing us through the phases,
Spaces and places to find our senses.
Gabriel behind, in front, within,
looks to guide and guard our lanes,
To find love out of lust,
To find our faces when we're lost. Lost!
Lost is what we are,
lost is where we are when the world bites down and we drown, Neck deep, in her pineapple juice.
She opens up and we dive head on to taste every inch,
Every drink;
Palates burst to a flood of flavors and we savor every sip.
We are caught in the spiritual shapes and sounds she makes and they're like old tapes;
Tapes of smooth melodies, harmonies, melancholy blues;
Till the who's-who and who's-not slice through with nothing but dim hues
But we shine brighter, beating back through the rhythm, Through the beats, through the drums, of our hearts,
of our sounds. It's the kick, it's the skit, it's the skat,
it's the bounce.
The bounce back through and through,
Fighting to get out the box, the four walls, the small talk, trying to knock us out;
the chitter-chatter, chitty-bang-bang fails to limit us in ties and knots;
It's the push-back against the pull, witness us try to rule, try to conquer,
try to bring you the new generation, the new you, the new us, the new infinite.
This is the time. It's now. It's right now.
We are breaking free on this gift of life given to us.
It's led us here: to you, to us. This is the amalgamation.
This is the me, this is the you, this is the us, traveling to our true forms. Just remember not to miss the party.
