Travel Alone
As I gaze upon the stars
I recollect memories of a former life
If I should die then mark my tomb
The wanderer that travelled alone

The road my home
Gained what I've been seeking
Clarity at mind - I rest
The cold cannot consume me
So long as there's heat within my chest

Bear- seek- lest you succumb to the flames
Dare to travel alone I will resist the call of your blaze
One light alone in the darkness
Doomed to fade
Avert your eyes, hold your breath for the last time

Through the mist and the plumes of fog
I'll find the strength to carry on
The trees whisper truths to me
I'll scour the earth to search for you
Plunging into darkness with my eyes open and I've survived
Hardened by the harshest storms
Time is my destroyer now

Bear- seek- lest you succumb to the flames
Dare to travel alone I will resist the call of your blaze
One light alone in the darkness
Doomed to fade
Avert your eyes, hold your breath for the last time

Traversed the farthest reaches
And mountains higher still
Beneath the lowest fathoms
And leagues beyond any mans will
And in the end I find I'm blessed
As I begin to shed my flesh
