----------------------------------------------------StoryThe game starts in 1911. John Marston, a former outlaw, is offered amnesty if he brings his former gang members to justice. When John finds them at Fort Mercer, he is shot after a short talk with the current gang leader. Bonnie MacFarlane finds him, close to death, and nurses him back to health.
