I Like Ev’rybody (Reprise)
[CLEO]
Supposin' I should have to say goodbye, darlin'
What would you say, darlin'?

[HERMAN]
I'd say goodbye, darlin'

[CLEO]
That's not what I mean!
Supposin' I just packed my bag and went, darlin'
How would you feel, darlin'?

[HERMAN]
I'd feel content

[CLEO]
Content?

[HERMAN]
Content that you'd be back pretty soon
From wherever it was you went

[CLEO]
I'm gonna give you one more chance
I may be leavin' in a little while, darlin'
How can you smile, darlin'?
[HERMAN]
Smilin's my style, darlin'!

[CLEO, HERMAN]
Smile, smile, smile I like everybody
That's all you do is smile That I've ever met
You wouldn't shed one tear I never met anybody
If I wеnt miles, miles, miles from hеre That got me upset
Goodbye No chip on my shoulder
Farewell Hate in my heart
So long, we're through! Or green in my eye
I'm tired And as I get older
Of watching you I find that more and more

Smile, smile, smile I like everybody
That's all you do is smile That's my kind of fun
You don't get mad or bad And though I strike everybody
Or just feel sad to hear me say As chump number one
Goodbye No robber can rob
Farewell This good-natured slob
So long, we're through! Of his private sky of blue

[HERMAN]
I like everybody
And extra 'specially I like you
[CLEO, spoken]
Oh! Go away!

[HERMAN, spoken]
All right, darlin'. See you later.

[CLEO]
And extra 'specially I like you

[DOC, spoken]
Folks! Folks! Before the party begins, I've got a little suggestion to make. Tony and Rosabella haven't had a minute together all day, and it's his first time out of the wheelchair up and around. It's really like the beginnin' of their honeymoon together... and as I said, before you folks start tramplin' all over their house, and drinking their vino, singing loud song in their ears, and keeping 'em up late... whey don't we all go down to Clancy's Bar and give them a little time alone together? Just the two of them. I think they'd like that. I think they need to be alone right now.
