Crystal Lake
Daylight
Only the creaks can be heard in the cycle of apathy
Voices that cannot become words run through the soul
Pain that cannot be eased covers the sky
Longing to be drenched, touching the dark waters
All the greed feels like loss, I'm just laying down
Lost in greed
Everything seems constant, denying change
All, I deny, even the air will stop at this point
All will change
Like the only choice left is to breathe

These desert wastelands will be reformed by the wind, will be remade by our hand
Drops of water that seldom fall form a pool of whispers, tainting our lives forever
The nervous system swings, searching for ease in these hands
Deep down in the dark ocean, I wait for the light

The answers that were frozen slowly start to melt
Emotions that burst become a signal for the path
The ornamention cracks and falls apart
Only creaks can be heard in the cycle of apathy
Voices that cannot become words run through the soul
Pain that cannot be eased covers the sky
Creating a new motion, fingernails leave a claw mark

As I crawl into this light
