To soothe her aching heart,
Travelling with emotion
A romantic future to restart.

Returning to his warm embrace
A whisper there to share,
The love they both had dented
A sweet kiss would soon repair.

Harsh words that were spoken
Had floated far away,
True love shining through
To enfold them night and day.
