One Red Rose

Perfume my every moment

Of this special day,

Enchant, Entice

Excite,

Before sadly you wilt away.

I watch you in your splendour

As alone

You stand graciously,

A token of true love

Sent especially for me.

So sweetly

You speak volumes

In your own romantic style,

Without the utterance of a whisper

You`re able to beguile.

Gently I caress you

As my lips rest on a card

I soon will sign,

Returning love in abundance

To my one and only, valentine.
