Hauntingly mysterious

Is anyone really there,

Or a figment of my imagination

Just designed to scare? .



I sense someone is creeping

Hiding behind eerie trees,

Invading my thoughts

As I tremble at the knees.



So dark the night uncaring,

Not interested that I

Am stood here all alone

Too terrified to even cry.



My skin begins to quiver

Leading my body on to shake,

In the distance an owl hoots

Unaware of his mistake.



Oh, calm me, help me, save me

Free me from this fear,

My brain is out of all control

I feel that danger`s near.



I see a bright light flashing

Who holds it, friend or foe? ,

I`m feeling very faint,

Will... I... ever...know......
