Happiness or tragedy

At the flip of a finger,

The fickleness of life

Whether joy or sadness will linger.

The unknown, the future,

Tomorrow, today,

Often the innocent with sorrow will pay,

Regardless of wealth

Or the poverty stricken,

One knock and we`re down

Like a headless chicken.



How many would wish

To view life`s crystal ball

Then accept, no way could they rise

As they were destined to fall.
