Feel The Need, Winter

Feel the need Winter

Don`t you feel the need

To retire now and leave? ,

Staying longer is just pure greed.

Your work is done

So long you stayed,

Such a high achiever

You made the grade.

Chilly nights and overcoats

Scarves still wrapped

Around our throats,

Frozen toes and iced up fingers

Much joy you gain while this still lingers.

Confused birds,

Will they, won`t they, build a nest

Feathers dithering here and there

You`ve really put them to a test.

Feel the need Winter

Please feel the need today,

Let Spring take over

Pack up and go, quietly slip away.
