Cupid So Elusive
Spring on a gentle breeze appeared
No-one noticed Cupid who escorted her unheard.

As young ladies and gentlemen quietly strolled about
No way could they know the plans Cupid was laying out.

One young lady taking in the evening air
Met a gentleman so handsome and debonair,
Smiling at each other they were completely unaware
Cupid had planned their meeting with precision care,
When contentedly they met each day
Without a whisper Cupid softly moved away.

Couples were united all through romantic Spring
As he watched each pair exchange a special ring.

When the season ended, on a hushed cloud Cupid disappeared
Now in that happy town, he remains...

Never seen or heard.
