Can You, Do You, Would You?
Can you hear the birds sing
On the mountain side,
Or watch the breeze take their wings
And see how gently they can glide? .

Would you hold an injured robin
Softly in your hand
As you placed it out of danger,
Then pray it would understand? .

Do you see a stray raindropp glisten? ,
Quick, it will evaporate,
Or were you not there in time? ,
You are known for being late.

Is the perfume of that flower
Worth your time to smell,
Or will you trample over it? ,
I bet you will not tell.

Can you see rabbits hopping
In and out the fern,
Or did that old fox so sly
Take them each in turn? .

Under that huge oak tree
Did many lovers carve their name? ,
Go and look if you have time
I`ve played that sad old game.

Can you see a rainbow
Does it lift your heart,
Are you looking for that pot of gold
Do you know where you should start? .

Did voices echo there centuries ago
While man enjoyed that natural land,
Does anyone there know? .
Did warriors walk upon it
Or did peasants gather wild food
Please tell me when you find out
If you feel in the mood.
