Beyond Reality
My thoughts wandered beyond reality,
They`ve gone that way before,
A coping mechanism my brain employs
It seems I can`t ignore.

I`ve floated on a moonbeam
Travelled with a shooting star,
Settled on a soft white cloud
To be transported off afar.

I paddled in the pool of life
Washed clean by a sparkling waterfall,
Morning dew I`ve worn as shoes
As ight hearted I walked tall.

Balancing on a rainbow
Gathering glorious colours to my soul,
I`ve waited for another dreamer
To play a supporting role.

Walking in wild abandon
On a rainswept day
I`ve thrown my worries to the storm
Then quickly moved away.

My thoughts, (holding imaginations hand)
Have often come unstuck
Then regained much confidence
With determination edged with luck.

I aim to gather peace of mind
As I journey where those thoughts decide,
Yet I only find tranquillity
If they don`t give me a bumpy ride.
