The foolish morning has arrived
It came with peace and charm
Carrying sunshine to my home town
As I awoke and switched off my alarm.

Children play around today
Before the clock strikes noon
Performing tricks and pranks
But their fun is over soon.

They pinch and punch
The first day of the month,
Then they think it`s really cool
To torment their friends and family
Then call them 'April fool'.
