Commemorative Audio Postcard Of The Royal Wedding
On a fresh sunny morning in the summer of 1981, the eyes of the world were on 2 young people setting out on a voyage of a very special marriage.

750 million people watched in trance as it all took place in the city of london. The young man was Charles Phillip Arthur George, the prince of Wales, and one day destined to be king of England.

Now, he leaves Buckinham Palace, and makes his way to the ceremonial coach which will take him to his bridе to be.

Lady Diana will meet him at the altar of Sir Christopher Wrеn's monumental creation, Saint Paul's Cathedral.

The prince is fully prepared for the task ahead, born on the 14th of November 1948, his life since that time has been varied, and accomplished.

He's graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge, he's flown for the royal air force, and commanded a ship in the royal navy. He's a skilled horseman, an international standard polo player, and a skier. Fishing for trout and salmon is another of his passions.

But all these pursuits are incidental to the duties of state he's carried out so faithfully on the monarch's behalf - but this duty is different, because the young couple are so clearly in love.

This fact shines from the face of Lady Diana, as she leaves Clarence House to meet her bridegroom at the cathedral. She's soon to be the princes of Wales, but through the dignity of her demeanor radiates the simple joy of a young woman on her wedding day.

The wedding seems pre-ordained when we study the rich ancestral background of Lady Diana Francis Spencer, daughter of the now Earl of Spencer, and a childhood friend of the royal family at their Sandringham estate in Norfolk, she has a family line which reaches back for centuries, and already she's captured the hearts of the whole nation with her unaffected charm, and beauty.

Now, a million people line the streets of London along the royal wedding route to see her and her bridegroom. They arrive separately at Saint Paul's, finally meeting at the altar.

The congregation are stunned by Lady Diana's wedding dress, and the 25 foot train which streams out behind it. This miracle is the creation of the Emmanuels, an exciting new design team. The wedding service is a triumph, a triumph of dignity and grace, a triumph of feeling and humanity.

The archbishop of Canterbury and his flowing robes conducts the ceremony with the appropriate solemnity. When it's done, the couple visibly relax.

Now the bells ring, and mingle with the cheers of the crowd.
On their return to Buckingham Palace, they seem to float as if in a bejeweled dream. The sight of them in their open carriage inspires the crowds to even greater expressions of joy.

Later, when they greet the crowds on the balcony of the palace, a whole nation appears to rise at the sight of the couple. The family gathers around them. There, and later in the hallowed rooms of Buckingham Palace, [our/her] royal majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Princess Margaret, Princess Anne, Queen Elizabeth, the queen mother.

The picture is historic, the picture is a symbol of the continuity of the monarchy, of the strength of the family, but above all, it is an affirmation of the power of [life/love].
