Rome
Stone of Light / Mer de Glace
Here, where there is only the sky and the pure, free winds
In the calm power of the light that shines over icy peaks
Here, before this triumphant greatness
All else, all the petty concerns of the life of the plains disappear
As we ascend under the unforgiving sun of the white inferno

At this heights, symbols come alive
In the silent brightness
The slow circumvolutions of the hawks above us
Evoke the eagle of our legions
It is up here, on these peaks
Beyond which lies another country, vast and luminous
That one can truly see the secret of Imperium

Is this the body of the God of Light?
Here we feel the superior unity of the invisible front
Of all those who fight in isolation
The scattered bearers of the same intangible tradition
Who preserved the idea of Imperium
And work for its return

Here, the outer adheres to the inner
In the light of an absolute life
In this joining of Earth and Sky
With the roar of the rolling rivers below
From the fogs of the valleys
To this holy stone of light
We gather around the axis
Gather around the axis
