Rozz Dyliams
Tourbillon
[Verse 1]
Cold sweats nervously checking my bank account
Feeling voices in a vacant house
Something fuzzy in my head but I can't make it out
Who shoots a snake just to save a mouse
Flashback says a youth running through the woods "It's gonna storm later, I can already taste it now"
The way a bear trap can snap around your ankle in a second followed by an eternal struggle to take it out
You gotta look down at your feet at all times when you walk or simply reassess the places where you trace about
I saw the universe inside a cup of coffee one morning brainstorming just happened to see it gazing down
Sometimes the mask that we wear and the past that we bear can scratch the attic floor to make a sort of grating sound
Life can be the worst in a cursed timeline with no breaks and no grace period to space it out
The peaks and valleys of existence you need to learn when to clamp down on the transients and when to shape 'em out
See the shape of rain take form to create a rainstorm just to orchestrate my favorite sound
There seem to be a certain beauty in the way we frown and what it mean to not but I never appreciated how
We dance a grim fandango in this short time that we have together here in this god forsaken town

[Chorus]
Time is so
Out of reach
Take my time
(?)

[Verse 2]
Oh what a time to be beyond what the mind can conjure and the human eye perceive
Surrounded by the countless revisions and drafts of the blueprints of the design of the picture in my mind of what I would like to be
In between the lowest valley and the highest peak as an unraveling of vices is truly a sight to see
Mesmerized by the the mechanism of the tourbillon that I lost all track of the time it keeps
