It’s Raining (Live)
[Intro]
We're, we're going to sing a song now that a very, very strange thing will probably happen in the house.

Some people, some of you will go, "I remember that! I used to sing that when I was a kid!" And you'll nudge the person next to you, who by that time has already discovered the fact and he's into it going "Ah bo ze bo di go, Ah bo ze go da mo nee." A little later he'll be do a sort of humming to it, very quietly, you know, going "Ah bo ze bo da, ah bo ze bo da, ah bo ze bo da, ah bo ze bo da."

And a little latеr in the program that thing will happen that I was talking to you about. The floor will start to trеmble. The walls will lean in.

And you'll start swaying back and forth, you know. Those of you that are wearing glasses will take them off, wipe them, you know, put 'em back on again. It's a little misty right?

And then this little door will open up in the back of your head. And this little voice will say "Sing. Sing. Sing!" And, and, and you're really gonna want to sing.

Please don't.

[Chorus]
It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring
Bumped his head and he went to bed
And he couldn't get up in the mornin'
Rain rain, go away, come again some other day

[Spoken]
Hey I got an idea - we could all play hide and go seek inside
Now everybody hide and I'll be it!

[Verse 1]
Star light, star bright
First star I see tonight
Wish I may, wish I might
Have the wish I wish tonight
[Chorus]
It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring
Bumped his head and he went to bed
And he couldn't get up in the mornin'
Rain rain, go away, come again some other day

[Post-Chorus]
Five, ten, fifteen, twenty
Twenty-five, thirty, thirty-five, forty

[Verse 2]
Ladybug, ladybug, fly away home
Your house is on fire, and your children
They will burn, they will burn

[Chorus]
It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring
Bumped his head and he went to bed
And he couldn't get up in the mornin'
Rain rain, go away, come again some other day

[Post-Chorus]
Forty-five, fifty, fifty-five, sixty
Sixty-five, seventy, seventy-five, eighty

[Verse 3]
Won't be my father's Jack
No, I won't be my mother's Jill
I'll be a fiddler's wife and fiddle when I will
[Chorus]
It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring
Bumped his head and he went to bed
And he couldn't get up in the mornin'
Rain rain, go away, come again some other, other day

[Post-Chorus]
Eighty-five, ninety, ninety-five, a hundred

[Outro]
Anyone round my base is it!
Here I come, ready or not!
