SLMT is a song of SB19 dedicated to A'TIN. So inside jokes and terminologies that can only be understand if you are a fan of SB19, are present in the song. Some Filipino terminologies as well
• Stell's first verse
“Bukambibig ng madla'y puro panggagaya
Pero salamat sa lahat nang naniwala (What the public's word of mouth is that I'm pure imitating. But thanks for all those who believed)” – While SB19 was starting, they we're always labeled as 'K-Pop copycats' because some Filipinos are not used seeing all-Filipino idol groups dancing synchronized and singing without looking like competing with each other [Nagsasapawan]. Some Filipinos are not used with idol groups with discipline and had proper training and experiences on performing. And since SB19 had it, and some Filipinos are K-Pop fans or know what K-Pop is – the first thing they think when saw SB19 is that they are K-Pop, but they then labeled SB19 as copycats. SB19's name means Sound Break so they broke on music scene on the Philippines and introduced new sound made by experimenting and putting efforts, their music is new for some Filipinos so they labeled them as copycats. Some Filipino's crab mentality, prejudice, stereotypes are the main reason of this. This is just part of the many challenges that SB19 had experienced back then. They already have come so far proving to everyone they were wrong with the copycat thing. But still, behind all of that there are still more people who believed on them and that is the reason why they are still striving and continuing on receiving the success they deserved
• Stell & Josh's first verse
“.... naniwala” (last word on Stell's first verse) “Nani? Wala! Nawala....” (first words on Josh's first verse) – it was a word play. Naniwala (believe), Nani? Wala! (What? Nothing!) and Nawala (Dissapeared) – They also used a Japanese word with the NANI part, that means WHAT
• Josh's first verse
“Halika dito may sikreto ako atin atin lang (Come here I have a secret. It's only ours)” – ATIN which translates to OURS. It was referenced to A'TIN which is the fandom name of SB19. SB19 also names their fans A'TIN that translates to OURS for all of their achievements are 'OURS' or shared by both SB19 and their fans
• Ken's Verse on Verse 2
“Parang 'di nagbayad. 1 2 3 hanggang peace lang (Looks like didn't payed, 1 2 3 only until peace) – 1 2 3 in the Philippines means you are going to ride a public vehicle while it's on the road or when you we're just going to catch it and just stand or hang on the door, and usually the passengers who does this are not advisable to pay the fair – It was also said "1 2 3 hanggang peace lang" so it was like only until 2, since peace (cute) gesture includes only two fingers
• Ken's Verse on Verse 2
“Dapat paramihin mo ng anim yung tatlo
Para unlimited (Multiply the three to six for it will be unlimited)” – When you multiply three to six, you'll get 18 = A'TIN (fans) for it will be unlimited. Unlimited, many A'TIN!
• Justin's Verse on Verse 2
“Minsan may bardagulan (Sometimes at bardagulan)” – Bardagulan is a GEN-Z term that means either joking around or debating/fighting through social media. In A'TIN fandom, Bardagulan means like interacting with co-fans (even bashers) and with SB19 members through joking around, debating, or fighting (good or bad)
• Pablo's Verse on Verse 2
“'Lang labingsyam pag walang labing walong mga kayamanan (No nineteen when there's no eighteen, our treasures)” – 19 is SB19, 18 is A'TIN. One of the meaning SB19 gave when they announced A'TIN as their fandom name is that 'There's no SB19 when there's no A'TIN' So we were not able to proceed to number 19 if there's no 18
• BRIDGE
“Palagi mang ma-hopia. 'Di ka nagsasawa (Even though you're always hopia. You're not getting tired)” – Hopia is just another Filipino term for Nothing/Zero. A'TIN fandom used it particularly on Menpa (Mention Parties) when they didn't get a reply from SB19 members. But despite of it, they are not getting tired because every Menpa is a precious time because it's SB19 and A'TIN bonding time!
“SLMT nakuha mo ba? Ikaw yung A! (SLMT, did you get it? You are the A!)” – Simply S-A-L-A-M-A-T. The letter A is always in between on the word SALAMAT which translates to THANKS. A also stands for A'TIN!
“Mahalima, Mahal ka ng lima (Mahalima, The five loves you)” – MAHALIMA is a fandom term created by user Erin (an A'TIN) on Twitter. Mahalima is only an another term for OT5 or 'One True Five' that were popular on stan culture, so A'TIN created their own. Mahalima was coined on combining words such as Mahal and Lima – "Mahal ko ang lima (I love the five)" or can also be "Mahal ko kayo lima (I love you five)" and that is on A'TIN's Point of View. Mahalima also sounds like the word Mahalina which translates to Fascinated so it was just like the fans are Fascinated by the five SB19 members.... But this time! On this song SLMT, SB19 used the word Mahalima and create an another meaning for it in SB19's Point of View. MAHALIMA, the combination also of two words mahal and lima but this time it turns like "Mahal ka ng lima" (The five loves you). Dedicated to A'TIN
