How to Add Video Game Credits to Genius
What Are Credits?Credits are the list of companies, developers, people and more who contributed to the creation of a game. On Game Genius, credits should only ever be added to a game's album page, and not each individual page that it has. However, if you’ve transcribed a transcript, you can add credits to it.How do I find Credits?In-Game: Every game has a credits section to show who was involved in creating it. Sometimes, they're found when completing a game, or they can be triggered manually.

Official Websites: Sometimes, a game's official website will have a page which shows credits.

Other Websites: Websites like Moby Games and Steam are okay to find credits from - try not to use Wikipedia when searching for credits.

Since different sources list credits differently, Game Genius has its own set of standardized additional roles. When adding credits, refer to this guide to find the right title to use. Note that this list of credits only lists the credits we’ve found to be most-used. If the credit you're attempting to add isn't listed here, use your best judgement, or hit up Jetski_Wavez for further assistance. When adding these credits, keep in mind that all roles should be listed individually. These credits can also be pluralized if needed.
