It was a nice, sunny day in LA. But we weren't allowed to go outside due to the quarantine, and I knew I was having to go back to the Netherlands soon, and I also knew I was really going to miss my boyfriend. He had to stay in LA for a bit longer, and with that on our minds, "Sleeping On The Phone" was born. A song that we both turned to for comfort, through time difference and through the hours of loneliness, and we know we would miss each other, of course, and we would miss each other a lot. But we had this song to listen to, and with all we wanted to say to each othеr in its lyrics. And it’s also the very first song we еver wrote together.
