That Moment When . . .
When your sitting on the couch and a chick's in your bed
But she didn’t let you beat so you can't even sleep
And its 4:26 and you really love your girl
But you don't know where she is
She stayed out for the night just so you could handle biz
Which you didn’t even handle but it wasn't so bad
You got a nice sample so you aren't even mad
Cause' you know you hit song
Cause' you didn't try to force it cause you know you let off and just gone
You know that if you beat of in the bathroom you'd be strange
But you feel that's kinda corny so you’d rather stay awake
So instead of lying staring at the ceiling in your bed
You turn on to (being right) every thought that’s in your head
You're shirtless so you look and realize you’re getting fat
Because you deny that your only eating fuckin' crap
You're blowing up so it doesn't matter if you’re cute
But you think about the shape you's ‘in back when you used to hoop
You realize that since then it's been fifteen fucking years
Everybody else is getting married having kids
Every article they write about you mentions age
But teenage you and current you are basically the same
And no one even gets it you aren't even rich
You only make enough for having everything you need
That's luckily identical to everything you want
But everyone projects on you there own idea of greed
Your eyes get started burning ‘cause you haven't even slept
You think maybe you should let out all the secrets that you kept
Then that second you recall the deepest darkest one you have
Then you realize that you're paralyzed because everyone would laugh
And you thrive on by being strong and feeling good about yourself
But the truth is you're just as scared as everybody else
You have homegirl half naked laid out right behind the door
You could probably bang now if you could only let go
But instead you play it safe, instead you sit and wait
And you figure everything will work out on another day
But the truth it probably will but tomorrow's never promised
So instead of playing it cool you should try just being honest
And then finally you yawn its 6:22
You've been waiting for so long, outside it's getting light
Just before you rode it you realize it's that moment when you have to say goodnight
