Tied them up in their hats and other garments

Threw them in the burning, fiery furnace!

Stoked up the furnace hotter than it ever was

Till it burned up the soldiers that had put 'em there!

Well, down came a shining angel (Yeah)

He flew down in the middle of the furnace
