Two of these men from Dungannon did come:
Paddy Carty, Seán Loughran; two men on the run
Their love for old Ireland was their only crime
For the love of Ireland they proudly did die

From far-off Cork, in the foot of the Bann
Young Dermot Crowley, he's not yet a man
The call was so great, though, he went to the North
He left his loving parents to follow his heart

Many's a tear was shed that day;
When the Dungannon, Paddy Carty was dead
For none was more brave, with a heart big and true
My God, Paddy Carty, will not forget you
Seán Loughran, gallant Loughran, alas you are gone
You came home England, you couldn't watch on
A man known for laughter, slag and great wit
For broken-hearted memories are what we're left with

Let's not forget Dermot Crowley from Cork
At eighteen years old, he came to the North
Just like his two comrades, it's plain to be seen
He gave his young life for Provisional Sinn Feín
