Small Virtues
When I was young, I said that I’d change the whole world
Well that’s not happened yet, but will tomorrow be the same?
I’m skidding on fumes left over from my past life
But I haven’t died yet, it’s these tiny virtues keeping me alive

It’s these tiny virtues keeping me alive
It’s these tiny virtues keeping me alive

When I was young, I told my mother I’m done
With learning anything practical or secure with time
I’m jealous of those as passioned as me
But in something that works, it’s these tiny virtues keeping me alive

It’s these tiny virtues keeping me alive

When I’m all done with this material life
I’ll travel the world seeing all that I’ve done
I’m skidding on fumes left over from my past life
But I haven’t died yet, it’s these tiny virtues keeping me alive

It’s these tiny virtues keeping me alive
It’s these tiny virtues keeping me alive
It’s these tiny virtues keeping me alive
It’s these tiny virtues keeping me alive

It’s these tiny virtues keeping me alive
It’s these tiny virtues keeping me alive
It’s these tiny virtues keeping me alive
