The Inner Chamber
The pleasant dream is fatal
Enchants the eager mind
A mirror of reflections
A hunt that makes you blind
Though you traveled through dimensions Reached the silver shore
Left troubled past behind you
Yet still you search for more

The lion bares a fortune
In a golden chest that's sealed
Has not revealed what's hidden
Has never owned the key
But in splendor light he went astray
Pierced by falsehood's thorn
A fragment of a victor
Alone forevermore

Into the unknown we were thrown, stuck in this madness far from home
For every farther step we sunk ice became thinner, mountains higher
Entangled in darkness' fatal trap, expelled to the cold for our desires
Fearless we shall seek for the whispers of the dead
If still our hearts are curious, into the chamber I'll tread

Where the dense dark forest does not even dare to spread
Is the place where all will end on their journey to the land of the dead
The winding crowns have arched a roof to shield this evil nest
Their trapped souls shall forever wander over the stained ground of the witch
Deep in the well of wisdom's eye
There lies a secret kept away from mankind Further down than one can see
Waiting for a young heart's purity
