Malukah
Home To Me
The darkwood falls before me
With broken bough and blacked leaf
I stand where trees meet with the sky
And in the stillness find you by

When all the paths are overgrown
And evening falls with crimson cloak
Into the forest I will fly
And in its shadow find you by

Darkness falls
Across land and black sea
I can hear your call
Calling back to me

The deep’ning sky
With nighthawk’s tune
Hanging upon the crescent moon
The wind draws strong
It pulls me near
And in the dark I find you here

The crumbling wall and mossy stone
Mere mem’ry of forgotten home
The shadow's passed, nothing to fear
Though we’re apart, I feel you near
Darkness falls
Across land and black sea
I can hear your call
Calling back to me

All alone
But for stone, sky, and tree
I will bring you home
Bring you home to me

And when the moon has taken flight
So far above the treetops’ height
I’ll search the darkwood far and wide
Pulling me closer to your side

Darkness falls
Across land, sky, and sea
I can hear your call
Calling back to me

All alone
But for stone, sky, and tree
I will bring you home
Bring you home to me
