When It’s Christmas
It’s been a long year
Working 9-5
I meant to see you
But I didn’t have the time

I’ve been so stressed out like every day and I don’t even know why
Just ups and downs the way life goes
Could make you wanna cry

January’s just cold
April’s nothing but showers
September means summer’s over
I’ve been counting down the hours

Until Christmas
Hanging lights up on the tree
When it’s Christmas
Spending time with family

On Christmas
Magic’s all around
Snow is on the ground
When it’s Christmas

Now it’s the season
Where we got twice the love to give
A time for healing
And turning strangers into friends
We can stay inside by an open fire and kiss under the mistletoe
Carols sung by a Children’s choir
Those melodies never get old

January’s just cold
April’s nothing but showers
September means summer’s over
I’ve been counting down the hours

Until Christmas
Hanging lights up on the tree
When it’s Christmas
Spending time with family

On Christmas
Magic’s all around
Snow is on the ground
When it’s Christmas

If we spent more time together
If we stayed in the giving mood
If we left the tree up in the living room

And kept the spirit of the season
All year long the world
We’d be a better place, not just on
Christmas
Hanging lights up on the tree
When it’s Christmas
Spending time with family

On Christmas
Magic’s all around
Snow is on the ground
When it’s Christmas

Merry Christmas
