How I finally joined a gang. I was hanging out with, our boy, soldier, cyclone they took me around. I was going around wherever they went. I wasn't part of the gang but I considered them as my friend and I felt that if they got into it I have to get into it. Though I wanted to be in a gang I had no plans to really be in a gang. Until I went to LA. And one day out one of the older guys from LA was asking me (a job for you) you know I mean "how come you not in Santanas yet?" I said no yahnoImeen, I shouldn't be in a gang, you know these are just my friends. They said "no don't you worry" you know "we'll jump you win we'll take care of you." Down from Cerritos he goes "you know L.A. will take care of you" and then I looked to my um my friends from Cerritos they said "It's up to you" so I said "Yeah let's go" and then um one our homeboys Mousie he, he took me by, by my shoulders, lead me the way, he goes "we're gonna jump you and we'll take care of you" and, and I don't know where. Bam. That's where I got jumped in. I 'member supposeds to be like thrity seconds. YahnoImeen, I got my tooth knocked out. Two black eyes, bumps all on my forehead. Until the big homie uhuh Mario Spanky jumped in and said "No that's enough." They helped me up. Everyone hugged me and said, "You're one of us now we'll take care of you." Yo, I was hurting. You know with bruises and teeth missing. Yaknow I felt proud that you know, hey, I'm in, they finally accepted me. And that was pretty much it uhh uhhh to the beginning of my life going fast right there.
