Another Side
It's been a little while since we
Threw our first men into the sea
Intended as a sacrifice
It took some time to realize
That there might be another side
To everything we see

Life swimming in a petri dish
My father was a scientist
Yeah, I never really had a name
They spoke to each of us the same
We knew nowhere from which we came
We only knew we were

They raised us like machinery
A secret new technology
But they could see the blood we bleed
They breathed the very air we breathed
They know not of humanity
They only know their words

Well, I was just a boy when I
Was sent away to fight and die
I'd never felt a feeling I
Had not been told to feel
But I could feel that something in me wasn't right
A feeling all to real and for the first time I felt alive
Well, I killed a dozen men or so
Before I felt the feeling grow
A cancer eating at my soul
Until it took complete control
I drew a line into the snow
And headed toward the sun

The sun led me to my first home
Where man killed God and stole His throne
They raised me as a war machine
And expected me to show mercy
They'll know not of serenity
They'll only know my wrath

Now some men dream while some cannot
Some men pray, but most forgot
Eternity begins to rot
As Hell's rivers freeze and start to clot
They overflow and wars are fought
Fires grow as brains are washed
By the dirty hands of those who plot
Saying, „Come step up and take a shot“
'Cause the man who kills the most receives a medal
Oh

We will fight your wars, we'll right your wrongs
We'll lobotomize your fears all gone
Complete the tasks you know are wrong
But are needed to be done
Yes, we will fight your wars, we'll right your wrongs
We'll lobotomize your fears all gone
Complete the tasks you know are wrong
But are needed to be done
