The Bus Stops Here
Fam runs in into the foyer where they are sitting, not noticing Dude 2 at first. He’s panting
Fam
My plans got cancelled and I thought I’d come check things out. What’s going o-

Fam stops. He notices Dude 2
The Boy
We’re done Fam. Don’t

Fam holds up a gun and looks away. It’s pointed at Dude 2. A loud shot is heard along with a crash. Silence. Dude 2 runs out of the house. Fam runs over to The Boy. He’s on the ground, he had jumped in front of Dude 2, knocking over the Buddha while doing so. It now lays broken next to him
Fam
No no no! Come on man!

The Boy is laying on the ground feebly toying with the hole in his jacket. The blood on his shirt looks like spots on a cow

The Boy
This is how it should be. I was given a second chance that I shouldn’t have gotten
Fam
Don’t talk like that man! Come on, get up!
The Boy
You can’t live your life on a bus. I get off here

The Boy’s eyes close and everything is dark. They slowly open

The door opens. In walks Swank, Steve, Marcus, and AJ. Behind them comes the old Indian dude, no ring on his finger. Next come the human like creatures that were at the wedding. They weep openly, frowns on their face. Finally, Sasha enters with a man The Boy has never seen before. They seem to be having a party, but no one talks

There is silence. Very lonely people sit around the house. There are people being quiet, keeping opinions, feeling uninteresting. No one has a purpose tonight. It's an awful time

The Boy’s father walks in and closes the door behind him

THE END
