she was a child just like everyone else
trying to live her life and just be herself
she gave it all even at her young age
she was betrayed and had to live inside a cage

her father drank and then she was afraid
he started touching her, she couldn’t escape her fate
the years went by she ran away from home
but nothing changed and she still felt so alone

haunted by the ghosts of her past
she was running from reality and nothing else will last

she got two children and she’s back with hope
even though the pain is still not gone
she found a way to carry on!
