Quenton Revis
An Informal Introduction
I’m Quenton, a kid with a headphone mic and a free editing software that still doesn’t entirely understand the process of creating and releasing music. I’ve been writing since I was 11 years old, and releasing tracks since September 2016. I’m 17 now, and I’ve gotten a little better at this, so I decided to work on an album. That album is called, “Oh, How I Love You So”, and is still being worked on. I thought I’d work on an EP in the meantime and call it Melancholy. I even recorded a song with a bit of a fourth wall break referencing telling a story in the melancholy EP, but I then decided this shouldn’t be an EP. This should just be an album. So that doesn’t make too much sense anymore but oh well. That other album is still coming by the way, this is album here is just the product of me wanting to work more. Every track you here on this album was written, recorded, produced, and edited by me, except for the interlude which was written and sang by my friend Esther Johnson. I’m proud of my lyrics, but don’t expect much when it comes to sound. You may be thinking to yourself, “If he knows it’s subpar, why release it?” And my answer to you would be - why not? Also, real quick, y’all need to know that this isn’t an a cappella album. The next track has no beat, but all the others do. Anyways -

Turn the lights off, cuddle up in bed, grab a tub of ice cream, and enjoy
