Easter: Sensations of April [II]
[II}

Daffodils
Long yellow sunlight fills
The cool secluded room
Swept and set in order—
Smelling of earth and rain.

And again The insistent sweet perfume
And the impressions it preserves
Irritate the imagination
Or the nerves.
