My Sweet Memory Box
I`ll fasten up my memory box
Then store it safe and sound,
Returning when I`m feeling low
Knowing pleasure can be found.

If I have unhappy moments
I`ll relive the days gone by,
When my love and I felt we had wings
So together we could fly.

No problems then beset us
We gloried in each rainbow after rain.
So many simple things in life
I wish now I could regain.

That box holds nothing tangible
To kiss or even touch,
It`s just filled to the brim with love
I value, Oh, so much.

The sweet perfume of the past
Will linger evermore,
I`ll be happy in the knowledge
My treasured box I have in store.
