Apple Blossom Love
With sparkling eyes their love entwined
Beneath the apple blossom tree,
Two beating hearts as one
Wishing never to be free.

The evening breeze danced round them,
Dainty petals floated through the air
To scatter like confetti
And decorate their flaxen hair.

With sweet breath upon his cheek
She whispered endearing love
To be witnessed by a falling star
From the moonlit sky above.

The lonely moon in envy
Guided a beam to their embrace
As she gave each loving kiss
He felt every one on his own face.

Enclosed within their passion
The lovers felt secure
Knowing the moon was theirs forever
And to him their love would soar.
