A mystery of long ago
Won`t leave my mind today,
It`s returned to torment
And on my senses play.
Baffle and bewilder
Tantalize and worry me
Destroying any reason
Intent on not to set me free.

Defiantly it aggravates my thoughts
Flitting here and there,
Refusing to release
Anything positive to share.
In a mindset of its own
To ruin any sparkle in my day,
I ache to pack its bags
And send it far away.

I`ve even tried persuasion
I don`t know how to issue out a threat
It`s the most annoying mystery
I`ve had to deal with yet.
