Human Rights Violation
[Verse 1]
Folks from Budrus and Nigeria be fighting for their rights
In respond they get beaten and killed straight outta spite
But they just want something back that they were entitled to
Higher ups acting as the master telling em what to do
Soldiers follow orders while the companies flow
As long as there is money involved anything goes
Uprooting the trees that the people live off of
Or causing pollution to the rain that falls above
People be stressing the fact how everyone should be equal
And then they turn their backs to work on the evil sequel
Like what’s up with that, but it’s not like anyone cares
Cause everyone seems to zip up as long as they get their share
We’re all humans, we all should be treated the same
So what makes you money makers any better than them
Soldiers and workers of the companies are like robots
Cause they can’t seem to think for themselves, no thoughts
Ain’t no world intervention to help solve the problem
Instead they remain neutral cause they can’t seem to fathom
No third-parties or international help they go on about
Cause helping wouldn’t benefit and that’s all it’s about
Look at America, our country used to be so strong
Now we just consumers who don’t care about right or wrong, man

[Verse 2]
The media does a good job of covering up things
Even exaggerating things that are just so simple
This year I’ve been definitely thinking a lot
And I ain’t talking about my usual desultory ramble talks
All these things that I’ve seen, felt, and heard
I’ve just accepted them without even thinking what I’ve heard
Then I realized that this problem ain’t just for me
In fact there are so many in this world that’s quick to believe
I thought these reporters and the government were all pros
Then I realized they human too making mistakes all low
Asking on the phone all these direct questions
And not even tryna consider any other possibilities
Label em as terrorists even though we don’t have enough proof
Build up a useless wall on the people’s territory, trouble too
Don’t be laughing and asking why I look sad and mad
We talking about suffering caused by people who think they all that

[Verse 3]
Even though all these disastrous things happen
People still stand strong together no matter what happens
That’s the kind of community I wanna be in
Long time wish for the future that’s what I’ve been dreaming
Celebrity breaks ups and drama pop up as breaking news
While the daily suffering of foreign lives aren’t any new
Even if we hear about it we don’t do anything about it
Cause it don’t apply to us and we got no reason to do it
I really hate my life right now and the person I am
Cause I’ll admit, I couldn’t even stand up as a man
Our citizens are so blinded, lost, and confused
And then there are the people praying hard in the pews
Seems to me that everyone wants human rights
But none want to admit that they want more in their life
All these kids and toddlers are all so spoiled to their guts
While the ones in poverty will hopefully live if they have luck
